1000 Voices: Young People take climate change into their own hands

£10,000 award sounds great for unique Steel Band
ImageThe 2009 Creme of Nature Community Action Award has been won by the Shern Hall Youth Methodist Steel Band based in Shern Hall Methodist Church Walthamstow E17. The band is unique as it is the only Methodist steel band in the UK and its mission is to train, nurture and encourage creative musical talent  among youth people and promote the cultural diversity of steel band music while remaining true to the Christian Faith.
