Hackney stab victim identified
ImageThe victim of the fatal stabbing in Hackney on Saturday 30 August has been formally identified as Shaquille  Smith, 14, of St Thomas's Place, E9. A post-mortem is scheduled to take place at midday on 1st September at the Royal London Hospital.

IPCC issues photo and statement from family of Sean Rigg

New African book encourages parents to teach children their culture

The Nigerian population in the UK is on the increase with 88,105 Nigerian born people living in Britain at the time of the 2001 Census. Ask any of the British children of Nigerian born people to communicate with you in the native tongue of their parents and you may find that many cannot understand, let alone speak a Nigerian language.
