Trident detectives are appealing for witnesses to a shooting in Norwood, southeast London on Wednesday, 30 December. An argument broke out outside a house in Whiteley Road, SE19, around 19:00hrs, where two men attacked a 25-year-old man leaving him with injuries to his ear.

Parents can help schools to tackle race inequalities
The Centre for Educational Success (CES) has launched a new publication for parents entitled: Race Equality and Schools: A Guide for Parents and Carers. The guide has been produced to help parents and carers to understand the responsibility that schools have to address race equality and suggests what parents can do to support schools to raise educational attainment.
